rain rain DON'T go away

today's a gloomy day. but i love the rain, it's cleaning my car for me. pure laziness on my part. but at least the salt will be gone! and high of 13!! i'm hoping the sun will come out to play (aka. dry my car)

TGIF fo sho! i'm totally ready for a weekend. must sleep. plans? maybe get some sleep..do some knitting...sleep maybe...read....finish my site...oh and did i forget sleep?

it is the one year death anniversary of my lola nette this saturday. i am not sure how to react to this. she and her husband, as far as i can remember throughout childhood, were the coolest people ever! they drove a white corvette, joked around with me even tho i was 5 times younger than they were, and talked to me like i wasn't 5 times younger than they were. and above that the same time spilling the spoils of being my grandparents all over me and my sisters!! like i said nothing short of amazing...

and now, one year after her death. i take my "black clothes" and put them aside. and celebrate that she is gone to a better place. : ( R.I.P lola

looking forward to a nice night with the banate's, santos', and a hipolito. throw in a few JohnnyBurgers...maybe even some pool, and u've got my evening...
