key word...crazy

went out with my sister yesterday for dinner. most of the time, if not all the time, i want..crave sushi. it's only a few select times that the person i'm going out with will be craving the same thing. at any rate, my sister and i set out to find a restaurant. there are only a handful of japanese restaurants i enjoy going to and for your viewing pleasure please i've redone my top 10 list. on this particular occasion, however, we were on a mission to try something new.

we sat in my room, running through all the japanese restaurants we could think of in the GTA. who would have thought there were so many? we settled on:

it was close and offered so many other options if one didnt work out. i guess it didn't hurt that bubble tea was so close by either!

the atmosphere was pleasant, but could do with just a bit more room. the food was also good, curry chicken udon so scrumptious. even the sashimi and handrolls had the perfect balance of rice to raw fish. wasabi, guessing from the amount i had to add, this was the "wasabi from a tube" not the wasabi i made from a powder, can u just taste the westernization?!?

if you can get past the non-japanese ambiance and the exuberent prices, really, i would highly suggest you go to this restaurant (otherwise, my handy top10 is still available.) unfortunately for Crazy Sushi, the only thing that saved the meal was the trip to second cup right after it. chai latte's are HIGHLY recommended.
