acid rain shower

when someone asks me what i did on the weekend, i can say i took a shower on the danforth.

this weekend was the Taste of the Danforth! OPAa! it was good times! went with the usual gang and then some. i was half-expecting it to be a decent crowd, seeing as we were going on a sunday, you know the kind where it's not too many people but enough to make it still feel like a great festival? yah that kind. but the street was filled to the brim. walking was a task.

and then the rain came. first it drizzled, i dealt. then it started to rain, i dealt. the the clouds flushed their cloudlike toilets and all the water from the sky came down, surprisingly i dealt. really we had no other choice, we had no umbrellas and we were already wet! what's a few more waterfalls? by the time we had decided we had had enough of the downpour we were soaked, and my trusty flipflops were not holding together all that well. *squish squish squish* we headed over to buttahP's house, for some much needed clothes drying and sitting. food + us = serious itis. the kicker about this day was, we're in BP's house and we're dry, and rocking the timberland gear, watching Barbershop, the sun came out!! dried everything outside...do we venture back? no. it'll probably start raining...
