long weekend
when is it ever long enough? man, NEVER!
while this past long weekend was pure good times, there should be another day added to recover from it all. that would be BOMB-A.

the crazies geared up for a road trip ( b | maymay | buttah | myself ) to:
nothing new on a sunday, but 5 hours of Poi Balls. INSANE! now reverse! now turn! now ... why don't u shove those poi balls up your #$!@* BEHIND?? it was so frustrating. but i had much to look forward to, the banates were coming over again for a Texas Hold 'Em rematch! and BBQ! and MaFu and NiFu were on their way to join in the fun! it was good times. it was great to see NiFu again...Buble here we come!

Happy Birthday to Makale'a and Hi'ilani! and to the beach beach beach we go! i had first anticipated not going to this event, the forecast for a week straight was rain. but when i got up and the sun was beating down on me through the window, i changed my mind and got into gear. B came with me, and we had some good eats and good times. guys sacking themselves with poi balls, hula performances, and did i forget to mention my walk on the boardwalk? man! 'leyni needing to go home was in wikkid timing the drops started to fall as we pulled out of the parking lot.
the weekend was great but like i said, it wasn't long enough and the lack of sleep is now beginning to show it's ugly head. UgH! work. or lack of, why else would i be writing this now?

i was in need of some serious lotion re-stocking. so we went. getting into the states was a lot easier than coming back, but we got a nice lady who understood that B wanted to get some real Krispy Kremes, and that perhaps later we were going to leave his "goods" in the states too! she was a trooper..no! really she was! he he. so after hitting some massive unnecessary traffic we were in the states and on our way to a VS. of course, it would have helped if we actually knew where we were going, but where would the fun be in that? it was "adventure" day and nothing was really going to stop us! 25 minutes, a handful of Tim's and we were at Boulevard, and the shopping got did. i am pretty much set for the next year in terms of lotion. - Niagra Falls - Fallsview Casino
by this point, we were all starving. and B had the greatest idea of getting the full casino feel, and we ended up at the Fallsview Buffet. PURE INSANITY! you have to line up to pay to get in. then line up to get seated. then line up for your food. and well, that's not that much to complain about, but when 4 people are seriously hungry, EVERYTHING seems tedious. i must say that the buffet was worth the trip, and i would have been content just staying there, the food was uber great. technically, we had to stay there for a while, ITIS for real! gambling began as soon as we were all capable of seeing straight, it was not a good night for gambling, but when is it ever? the winnings fluctuated so much, and by the end of the night we were all down a decent amount of money. why? oh why? did i go against my word? ha ha! it was fun i must admit! and i want to go back and stay there! Road trip anyone? :)
didn't get home until 3AM. i'm dead for the sunday. man that seemed a lot to write for just one day. but let's take what we get shall we?
