reality

it was a lovely weekend, and i do plan on posting a summary of it all, sometime...within this lifetime. it was really that good.

but i wanted to post this one reality, because well, i might forget all about it.

on sunday we had a baby shower for my cousin and his wife, with that came the various stages of family throughout the year and their children, and their children's children. my favorite currently being, baby deegs. the baby with no problem with people, scrumptious feet, smiley, giggly, chuubby boy thighs, and scrumptious feet!!! i had noticed before that he likes seeing tita la, and man who wouldn't i throw him in the air, tickle his tummy, and by golly i talk to him like he's got the brain capacity to reply to me,

"well, actually tita, i don't think the gas prices are going to subside any time soon. eventually maybe, but not in the near future. and maybe you should be over at the house more often, i enjoy these talks of ours."

now who wouldn't want that kind of quality time?

at any rate, deegs is transfixed when he looks at me. but, alas, to his mom's voice-over, "he's thinking, man! look at all the milk in there!" what can i say? lol. happy tuesday everyone!
